Your whole menu bar, one icon.
Window switching, clipboard history, screen capture, system monitoring and per-app volume. One process, one panel, one set of permissions — instead of a set per app.
Free forever · Pro $9.99/year for the first 50 · macOS 14.4 or later
- One process
- Not an agent per utility, competing for the same menu bar and the same battery.
- Idle when closed
- Nothing samples while nobody is looking. The monitor's timer runs only while the panel is open.
- One launch item
- One set of permissions to grant, one thing to update, one thing to quit.
System monitor
Every number, and what is behind it
CPU, GPU and battery, each with its own temperature next to its own load — plus memory used, pressure and swap. Every hardware stat expands to show which apps are responsible for it.
Helper processes roll up under the app that owns them, so a browser appears once rather than as thirty renderer rows.
Network
What is moving, and what the link can do
Live download and upload rates, updated as they change. When you want the ceiling rather than the current draw, one button measures the link against Cloudflare and reports both directions and the latency.
It only runs when you press it — nothing here reaches a server on its own. Configured VPNs get a row each below, with a switch and how long the tunnel has been up.
Power
Watts, not a battery percentage
What the machine is drawing right now, graphed as it moves — so the cost of what you just opened is a number rather than a guess. The clip is the same Mac idle, then with eight cores busy, then idle again.
Under it: what the charger is actually supplying against what it is rated for, and the battery's health and cycle count.
Clipboard history
Everything you copied, on one shortcut
Text, screenshots and files, captured as you copy them and searchable from a keystroke. Pastes back into the app you came from, and skips password managers.
History can expire on its own — an hour, a day, thirty days — and a single item can be given a shorter life of its own, so a password you pasted once is gone in five minutes. Starred items survive both sweeps.
Screen capture
Cut it out, mark it up, send it
Area or fullscreen, on shortcuts you can rebind, straight into an annotation editor pinned where you captured. Arrows, boxes, freehand, text, numbered markers, and blur for the parts you should not have captured. Copy or save when you are done.
Volume mixer
A slider per app, which macOS does not offer
Turn one app down without touching the rest, or push it past its own maximum up to 2×. Mute one app and leave the others playing.
Each app can also be sent to its own output — the call to your headphones, everything else to the speakers — which macOS does not offer either.
Cleaning mode
Wipe the keyboard without typing on it
One button locks every key for 90 seconds, so a cloth dragged across the keyboard opens nothing, types nothing and switches nothing. The pointer keeps working — it's the way out, and a cloth on the keys can't use it.
A press held for a second unlocks early, and the lock always lets go on its own, even if Orbit doesn't. Media and brightness keys stay live throughout, and the power button and Touch ID are never touched.
Window switcher
Cmd-Tab that switches windows
Not just apps, and across every desktop. Cmd-` cycles within the current app.
Three styles, switched in the panel: Thumbnails, a grid of live window previews; App Icons, one row and no previews; Cards, one card per window with the app over its title. The two that draw no previews never ask ScreenCaptureKit for a frame, so they open instantly and need no Screen Recording permission at all.
