Window switcher
Cmd-Tab that switches windows, not just apps, across every desktop. Pick the style you like: live thumbnails, app icons or cards.
Dock previews
Rest the pointer on an app in the Dock to see its windows, and a browser's tabs. Click one to jump straight to it.
Volume mixer
A volume slider for every app, up to 2×. Mute one app without touching the rest, or send it to its own speakers or headphones.
Screen capture
Grab an area or the whole screen and mark it up right where you took it: arrows, boxes, text and blur. Then copy or save.

Is Orbit free?
Yes. Orbit Free costs nothing, forever, with no account: screen capture with the full annotation editor and unlimited clipboard history. Orbit Pro adds Keep Awake, the system monitor, the volume mixer, the window switcher and Dock previews.
How much is Orbit Pro? Is it a subscription?
No subscription. Pro is a one-time payment of $8 for the first 50 licences, then $15. One licence covers up to 3 Macs and every 1.x update. Every Pro feature can be tried free for 14 days, no card needed.
Which Macs does Orbit run on?
Any Mac on macOS 14.4 or later. It is a universal app, native on both Apple silicon and Intel.
What happens when the trial ends?
Orbit settles back to the free tier rather than locking. Your clipboard history and screenshots stay, and everything that was never Pro-only keeps working.
Can I turn off the tools I don't use?
Yes. Every tool has its own switch in Tools › Features, so the panel only shows what you use.
What permissions does Orbit ask for?
Accessibility, so the window switcher and Dock previews can see and raise windows, and Screen Recording, for window thumbnails and screen capture. Each is asked for when you first use the tool that needs it.
Does Orbit collect my data?
No. Orbit has no account, no server of its own and no analytics. Your clipboard, screenshots, windows and system readings are read and kept on your Mac. The only network use is the speed test, when you press it, and the update check.
