support@orbitmac.com. There is no ticket system and no bot in front of it — the mail goes to the people who write Orbit.

Three things make a reply useful instead of a round of questions: the version of Orbit (Orbit ▸ Utilities shows it, and it is in the name of the file you downloaded), your version of macOS, and what you did just before it went wrong.

A feature does nothing at all

Almost always a permission macOS has not been given, or has quietly taken back after an update. Each of these lives in System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security:

Accessibility — the window switcher, and the clipboard's paste-back. Without it the switcher opens on nothing.
Screen Recording — screen capture, and the window previews in the switcher styles that show them.
Audio — the per-app volume mixer, which taps an app's own audio to re-render it at the level you set.

If Orbit is already listed and ticked and the feature is still dead, remove Orbit from the list with the minus button, then add it again: macOS keeps a record per app version, and a stale one is not always visible from the checkbox.

Licence keys

Your key arrives from Lemon Squeezy in the receipt for your order, and it is good on up to three Macs at once. Moving to a fourth means deactivating one of the others first — from Orbit ▸ Utilities ▸ Licence on the Mac you are leaving, or by writing to us if that Mac is gone.

Lost the key: mail us from the address you bought with, or search your mail for the Lemon Squeezy receipt. Payment, invoices, tax and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy, whose terms govern the order — we can point you at the right place, but the money side is theirs.

Trials and what happens after

The 14-day Pro trial needs no card and never touches the store. When it ends, Orbit settles back to the free tier rather than locking: your clipboard history and your screenshots are still there, and nothing that was never Pro-only turns off.

Orbit is distributed under GPL-3.0-or-later, and the source for any version you have is yours for the asking — the standing offer, and how to claim it, is on the licence page.

Requirements

macOS 14.4 or later. Older versions of macOS are missing the APIs the monitor and the mixer are built on, so there is no build for them rather than a build that quietly does less.
